5. Before each game, you can trade stars for extra lives and firepower. Five stars get you one extra life, and five stars can also increase your firepower once.

Classic mode review:
This game is a modified version of the classic arcade game, Nintendo's NES Battle City tank battle. In this take, enemy tanks can also grab prizes! As the player, you command a tank and have to destroy every computer-controlled enemy tank while protecting your base.
In the game, the base symbol is an eagle. Each level has 20 enemy tanks. If your base/eagle is shot or all of your players' tanks are destroyed, the game is over.
There are 20 levels in all, and each battlefield is 13 x 13. Terrain and obstacles change from level to level. Come play, everyone! I hope this game brings back happy, carefree childhood memories.

Classic 90 Tank War player review:
The name Tank War probably comes from an FC-era game. This version looks like a port, and its content is basically the same as what I played, at least on a content level, it brought back my childhood memories.
But, even though I was expecting joystick controls, I didn't expect the joystick's detection area to be so outrageous. I can trigger it even when tapping between the joystick and the right shooting button. I also feel the joystick isn't as comfortable or easy to use as the key control for this sort of game, and mis-taps happen way too easily. Since this is an old game (?), a full-screen phone leaves a large blank area on two sides, which is uncomfortable. I hope it can be adapted soon.

Classic 90 tanks - all the collectible items:
Lightning shield: in the original version, you got invincibility for a while after picking it up. But this version gives you a shield of your own with no time limit.
Foreign Gun: turns your attack into a super bullet that can pierce steel and take down enemies more efficiently.
Five-pointed star: speeds up your shooting; collect three stars to unlock super bullets.
Bomb: makes all enemy tanks on the field explode. But honestly, if an enemy picks it up, they'll do the exploding!
Timer: freezes all tanks for a limited time.
Horn: protects your base with steel for a certain amount of time.
